Together we fill out the NOIM (Notice of Intention of Marriage) which needs to be done at least one month prior to the wedding date but can be done as early as 18 months in advance.

I sight all original documents (Birth Certificate/Passport) as well as evidence of divorce or death certificate in the event of previous marriage.

Initial deposit is paid at this meeting which is to lock in the date of your marriage.

We discuss your individual wedding ceremony requirements and I give you all the materials you'll need to create your unique ceremony.

In the event that your marriage must take place before the required month's notice, it requires the approval of a prescribed authority and you must have a valid reason for this shortening of time. The Registrar of the Births, Deaths and Marriages or the local court can issue this shortening of time document but it will incur a fee and I will supply you with the required letter in order to apply for this permission.
